Events

CAPS sponsors seminars which are held regularly on Friday afternoons at 4:00. These seminars -- and the receptions that follow -- permit discussion of current research and provide occasions in which scholars -- senior faculty, junior faculty, graduate students, research-oriented undergraduates, and scholars from other schools within the university and from other colleges and universities -- can come together to stimulate and develop ideas for the study of American politics. The presentations, the regular position of the seminar on the academic calendar, and the conviviality of the receptions and dinners associated with the seminar have all helped to create an intellectual and social community among many students of American politics in the Boston area.
