Declaration Resources Project

Declaration Resources Project
The Declaration Resources Project is a new initiative led by Danielle Allen, Director of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University and professor in Harvard’s Department of Government and Graduate School of Education. The mission of this project is to create innovative and informative resources about the Declaration of Independence. The preliminary goal of this project is to supplement existing web-based resources with tools that will allow individuals to engage with the text and understand the dissemination and impact of the document. Ultimately, we hope to demonstrate the ways in which engagement with fundamental primary sources such as the Declaration of Independence can influence civic identity and change our understanding of civic education.
