The Program on Constitutional Government (PCG) invites you to a talk with James Piereson – talk title pending. James Piereson is a Manhattan Institute senior fellow and president and trustee of the William E. Simon Foundation. During 1985–2005, he was executive director and trustee of the John M. Olin Foundation. Previously, Piereson served on the political science faculties of Iowa State University, Indiana University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Piereson’s articles have appeared in many publications. He is the author of several books, his most recent one being Shattered Consensus: The Rise and Decline of America’s Postwar Political Order (2015). Piereson holds a B.A. and a Ph.D. in political science from Michigan State University.
