Jasmine English is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at MIT. Her research focuses on religion, race, deliberation, and political engagement in the American context. Her dissertation project uses ethnographic and statistical methods to investigate how congregational diversity shapes the political involvements of local churches. Methodologically, Jasmine is interested in the synergies between positivist and interpretive approaches to inquiry.
