Andrew O'Donohue
Ph.D. Candidate in Government
Andrew O’Donohue studies democratic erosion, political polarization, and law and courts, looking at the United States in comparative perspective. Drawing on data from Turkey, Brazil, and the United States, his research investigates why law and courts successfully constrain anti-democratic politicians in some cases yet fail to do so or backfire in others.
