Marissa Combs

Marissa Combs is a PhD student in Sociology. Her research sits at the intersection of sociology of education, organizations, culture, and economic sociology, and draws on both quantitative and qualitative methods. She is interested in the contours and consequences of market-based accountability in K-12 public schools and the organizational factors shaping public education reform in the U.S.
