Allaura Osborne is a recipient of a 2024 CAPS Undergraduate Summer Thesis Research Grant. Allaura’s proposed thesis is entitled, “The Remnants of Indian Boarding Schools: The Continuance of Cultural Genocide through Family Service.”
Proposal synopsis: Through this research, I will be working with Tribal Members of Pine Ridge Reservation as I learn about their experiences not only with Indian Boarding Schools but also with Family Services and how this has continued the genocide of American Indians.
