Angelo Dagonel’s research interests revolve around institutions and race, specifically immigration policy and redistricting. Angelo’s current projects include: political control of immigration-relevant bureaucratic agencies; local policy responsiveness to immigration preferences; and racially polarized voting in elections.

Angelo Dagonel graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2018 with a BA in Political Science, after transferring from Pasadena City College in late 2016 with various AA degrees. Before graduate school, Angelo was a researcher at the Stanford-MIT Healthy Elections Project, a recruitment analyst at the Harvard Digital Lab for the Social Sciences, and a Harvard Research Scholar Initiative pre-doctoral fellow.
