I research human behavior-informed policy implementation to improve take-up and efficacy, using experimental and economic methods. I am interested in improving trust, transparency, and communication between citizens and their governments. This is of particular concern for those who have historically been disenfranchised from civic participation. Relatedly, I study the underutilization of the social safety net and methods to improve take-up.
