Post-Doctoral Fellow, Harvard Kennedy School
I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Kennedy School of Government. I study voting, race, and inequality with a focus on local politics. My current work examines the effects of crime and policing on political behavior, and how individuals connect their preferences on these issues to their vote choices. In other projects, I examine polarization in elite rhetoric and how a partisan news environment contributes to inequalities in political voice.
