Emma Lezberg
Ph.D. Student in Education
Emma Lezberg is a sociologist of immigration and education, focusing on U.S. immigration law and its effects on families and young people. Much of her research explores the transition from school to work for undocumented young people, identifying best practices for schools and institutions to support students in building successful careers without work permits. She also looks at how immigration laws influence when couples decide to marry and have children.
