Evan Cliff MacKay is a PhD student in Sociology and Social Policy. Evan is currently investigating how putting a topic directly onto the ballot, such as a referendum on increasing the minimum wage, impacts public opinion on that topic. Evan is also interested in the impact of felony disenfranchisement and understanding civic participation among disenfranchised and re-enfranchised populations.
