I’m broadly interested in understanding the ways in which ongoing labor market changes, such as automation, affect workers’ personal and family lives. One of my project looks at the role of regional factors, such as local labor market conditions and political attitudes, in shaping the gap between actual and perceived intergenerational mobility.
