Paris Boo
Ph.D. Candidate in Government
Paris Boo studies electoral and institutional constraints on foreign policy. She examines the sources of public preferences, such as racial attitudes; as well as the processes through which existing institutions translate these sub-national actors’ preferences into the security policymaking processes. She examines these mechanisms in the broader security policy domains, from US alliance and defense policy to immigration.
