Saúl Ramírez is a PhD candidate in Sociology and a Climenko Fellow and Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School. He is interested in crimmigration—the intersection of the immigration and criminal legal systems—including the collateral consequences of deportations for immigrants from Mexico in particular vis-à-vis the germane ramifications of incarceration in the United States: a research agenda he pursues through in-depth interviews.
