Silvan is a doctoral student in Organizational Behavior at HBS and the Department of Sociology at Harvard University. He studies labor market sorting, career trajectories, and social stratification. He focuses on how individuals choose between jobs and how these choices shape subsequent mobility and access to rewards. In his research, he primarily uses computational methods and relies on large-scale archival data.
