Former CAPS Faculty Director Dan Carpenter’s book, Democracy by Petition: Popular Politics in Transformation 1790-1870, has been voted the winner of the 2022 J. David Greenstone Prize.
The J. David Greenstone Award is given for the best book in politics and history published in the preceding two years. The award is given by the Politics and History Section of the American Political Science Association.
