Ph.D. Candidate in Government

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Government and a James M. and Cathleen D. Stone PhD Scholar in Inequality and Wealth Concentration. My research focuses on sources of elite-level partisan polarization in the contemporary United States. In my dissertation project, I examine processes of partisan transformation around sociocultural issues and evaluate the organizational dynamics of state-level political party organizations. Before starting graduate school, I received my B.A. in Political Science at Carleton College.
