Simon Hongzhe Sun obtained his PhD in American Studies from Harvard University in 2021. He is now an assistant professor at the Chinese Center for the Study of Politics at the School of Government, Peking University. He is interested in the global and institutional origins of the American Civilization, history of American government, history of American political thought, and American political science in interdisciplinary contexts.
